Though Diane firmly prefers to be on the publisher and editor's side of the fence, she has authored three books and ghostwritten others for clients.

She penned her children's novel, 'Son of the Ringmaster', for her daughters when they were at primary school. Every New Year she makes a resolution to write its sequel, but the magic hasn't reoccurred yet. She confesses to being a far better editor than a writer (despite fans of SOTR positively insisting otherwise) - so, one day, who knows?!

Diane works in the charity sector in her part-time day job, and works with authors the rest of the time. She loves books and loves making authors' dreams come true.

She lives in Pontefract with her (now adult) daughters, her husband, and her yappy Border Terrier.
